Cannot get MIDI input from my piano keyboard

Hello, I have a Samson Carbon 61 piano keyboard plugged into my PC via USB. When I open up preferences in Musescore, it doesn't show up as an option for MIDI IN. I have tried to turn on/off the MIDI button on the header, tried unplugging and repluggin the USB cable in, and I've tried restarting Musescore and still won't see it show up in the Preferences window.
It is not connected via 5-pin connector, but USB.
It was able to work with Musescore a year ago, but this time Musescore isn't recognizing it.

Please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong here.
