First and second time instructions
I have a piece which has a first time bar, repeat sign and and second time finish. I need the second time (only) to slow down, but before<-u> the last couple of bars. Although it is easy enough to put a text instruction ("rit second time only") above the stave, it seems impossible to cause a rit only on the second playback. Unless there is some trick to do it which I am missing?

As far as I know: No!
But you can put the ritardanto part in a second volta
or
you can use MuS 3, where you can select "Unroll Repeats" and format the second repeat differently. That is useful for creating e.g. mp3s.
