My chord symbols on guitar staff are being realized (clumsily) on a piano in MuseScore 4.

In MuseScore 4.1, how do you change chord realization from piano to guitar -- this is supposed to be automatic in MuseScore 4 if the stave has guitar as the instrument, but apparently it's not. How do I get guitar stave chord symbols to play on a guitar instead of the default piano?
