Incomplete tuplet brackets (cosmetic, non-functional)
I'm writing a piece that needs a measure of 2/12 for a metric modulation, and while I can create the time signature easily, I'd love to also be able to create an incomplete tuplet bracket to go over the measure--it's not technically necessary, but I think it would be good engraving.
My pipe dream would be to have a feature that allowed me to create incomplete tuplets that play back, but I imagine that'd be hard to do. But surely a customizable, non-playing-back bracket is easily doable, right?

Can you show a picture of what you mean?
To some extent, you can construct your own tupelt brackets using the predefined SMuFL characters for this. Create a staff text (for instance), press Shift+F2 for special characters, then navigate to the "Beamed groups of notes" section on the "Musical symbols" tab.
