Staff Spacing
It would really be super handy to have better control over the spacing between staves. The staff spacers are not consistent in being able to grab the next staff below and move it closer (up) once itself has been moved closer to the one above it.
For example, what I'm trying to do is achieve a single page of music with 6 staff lines - the first four have one line of text each and so should be close, while that last two are the verses and need 6 lines of text each. Like this:

refrain text
*******(staff)
refrain text
*******(staff)

*******(staff)

hope this makes sense. It would be good to highlight two or more staves and then somehow shrink the vertical white space between. Anyway, thanks for a great tool, but this would be very helpful.

It should be pretty rare to need to resort to spaces - the style settings can normally produce whatever results you want much more simply and automatically. If you attach your score and describe what you are trying to do in more detail, we can understand and assist better.
