New sounds in Musescore 4
Hi there everyone
Love the new sounds BUT there are annoying glissandi between pitches in the solo strings....When using the violin sound to do a Bach or anything Baroque dictation for kids it's just awful !!
How do I revert to the boring old midi sounds ...the glisses will put off many students.

For any particular staff, you can select MS Basic. If you want a solo violin sound, make sure the staff is named solo violin.

Thanks bobjp...this will make things better. The fullorchestral sound is beautiful and workable but the solo sound is a bit lush and romantic. Cheers J.O.
