Voice glissando not functioning

Note: I'm using Musescore 4.

I'm trying to notate a voice glissando going from an A to a C# with a soprano voice, but in "Properties," after changing the glissando to portamento, it doesn't play. Is it just my computer, or is this a bug in Musescore?

Also, I was wondering if there was the feature in Musescore 3 where you could change the length of different parts of glissandi (such as lengthening the beginning and making the end faster) for a more realistic fall in voice.
