Manually merging the Measures elements of mscx files...

Hi, I know there's a long, ongoing discussion about pasting from one score to another with more than basic note info, not ignoring key sigs, etc. But in the meantime, since I have two quite large scores, with the same 3 Parts in it, I thought I might just try copying the Measure elements from one XML(.mscx) file to another. This seems to work ok, but I wonder if anyone more familiar with the inner workings of MuseScore, or it's XML format, can tell me if I'm overlooking any obvious potential problems.
