Marching Snare Notation

• Nov 25, 2024 - 19:45

I'm wanting to make it so when I write with the Marching Snare on MS4 that I have more than 1 line in the clef, like a drumset clef. It makes it easier to write A/B parts and I prefer to read it this way. I still want the sounds of the marching snare that come with the specfic instrument and I haven't been able to find a good way to get this.

Picture down below to show what I mean, all lines compared to just one.

Here is a very useful video on writing for Percussion Instruments.
If it doesn't open copy the Title and search in Youtube or in

Just right click and select the "Staff/Part Properties". It's a bit critical, but if you have it, set the Lines to 5 in the "Staff Properties".
