shortcut for pitch names
For my students that are beginners i usually print the pitch name in the note. eventually we drop the "cheat" but i was wondering if there is a shortcut to do this instead of right click/staff part/properties/etc.?

I probably didn't understand correctly, might Ctrl+K work?

Not really. The ctrl K just allows text I put for chords.
I’m wanting a shortcut that I could highlight all the notes (ctrlA) but then it inputs the name of the note in the note.

But there is (was there? See: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/plugins#pre-installed) the plugin to have the text over the staff.

I see "Note Names" among the pre-installed plugins. Go to Plugins / Manage plugins and enable the "Note Names" plugin.

Hunh! I enabled that plugin. Then opened a score, selected a measure's worth of notes, and clicked on Plugins / Composing/Arranging tools / Note Names and got ...
I can't even find a way to MAKE it show solfa????

Dependence of language in use (Italian).
It displays the names of the notes (as staff text) according to MuseScore's language settings
Not to be confused with Do mobile.
