Problem installing MU4 CHROMEBOOK

I5 8gigs MU3. Installed
Nothing I do works. 'No such file or directory'. Best I got was 'permission denied'.(?) Have MU4 in documents. Have tried what is in MU4 handbook for installation. Just nothing. Am not an experienced linux user, so follow examples and directions... know I have entered letters and numbers correctly.(multiple times) any thoughts, suggestions will be greatly appreciated! (Chose app 64 bit)
