When music is playing, click to download has no effect
For example, if I am viewing https://musescore.com/classicman/scores/55352
and playing the music by the Play button,
then if I click Download and choose to download the musescore file or PDF, it has no reaction.

Interesting, I can confirm, the download dialog also flickers at that time.
It isn't just that score though, but apparently every score.
