import midi - all staffs are Grand

When I import a midi file (from Studio One), all instruments have a Grand Staff (see attached screenshot).
I have not been able to change (some of) them to Single Staff.
I've read help requests to hide staff, to change from single to grand, but not the opposite (my fault?)

unfortunately I cannot share the midi file (perhaps I could extract just a few bars)
