Muse Hub critical error - a unit connected to the system is not working

• May 9, 2023 - 19:53

I get this "Muse Hub critical error - a unit connected to the system is not working" when i try to start Muse Score and Muse Hub, i had it installed and working fine until today and have been using it occationally. But today when i was going use it again, it won't start and it won't tell me whats wrong. When I click "OK" on the critical error the Muse Hub vanishes from the task-bar area. And I'm only semi-finding it again in the "Application log" on the task manager. I tried updating it before it went totally bonkers. But now it wont start at all, only giving that error message.

And i have no musical instrument of any kind connected to the computer. So its a higly annoying error message.

I have tried uninstalling it, remove it completely from the register and everything, restarted the computer and trying to reinstall it from the musescore.org, the "Muse Hub" flash for a semi-second and then I get the same error message everytime.

I also tried installing just the Muse score program without the Muse Hub, and it seems to go Ok on the installing process, no error messages, but when the installer finishes nothing happens. I go to the Start-menu and start Muse Score again, the "Muse Score 4, loading..." comes and vanishes and nothing happens. Muse score is neither in the task bar or in the task manager. :(((((

I'm on Windows 10 Pro, versjon 22H2
