Lost score

I was working on a score the other day that I'd been working on for a few hours, when musescore 4 randomly crashed and ended. When I opened it back up, it asked if I wanted to install the newer version of the app. I installed the newer version but when I went back to the chart I was working on, most of my progress was gone and it had reverted to a previously saved version. Is there a way to recover the file to the most recently updated version of my score?
