MIDI in Musescore

Hi. So, I have to export my score as a MIDI file. Everything works fine, except Musescore completely ignores the fact that I'm using a soundfont! Basically, I want my MIDI files to sound the same as it was intended soundfont-wise. Can someone help me? Thank you.

That's just not possible with MIDI.
Try MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, the audio formats.

Or tell your MIDI player to use the same soundfont as MuseScore does
