Version 4 - Multiple crashes.
Hi.
Anybody know why my Musescore is crashing constantly?
Im using Version 4.0.2.230651546 on a Mac.
Mostly when I'm using Cmd C or Cmd V.
Frustrating.
Also having problems with playing back a full music score (Conductor's Score for Concert Band). It only plays back whatever instrument I have the cursor on.
I have just noticed that even though I've upgraded to V4.0 I still have V3 on my computer.Could this have anything to do with my problems?
I would have thought that as part of the upgrading process to V4 the V3 would have been removed.
Am I being a bit naive??

V4 isn't as much an upgrade as it is a different program.
If you want the whole score to playback, select a note, not a measure.
No idea why all the crashes. Sorry.

This will not be the cause of the problem.
MuseScore has always allowed you to have multiple versions installed at the same time, and many users have V3 and V4 installed. Many other programs uninstall the old version when you upgrade, MuseScore doesn't, they just behave like two different programs - just like you usually have an audio editor, a spreadsheet, a text editor and many other programs installed at the same time.
Problems are likely to arise when you want to run both versions at the same time. This should be avoided.
Since I don't use a MAC or MuS 4, this is just a general statement.
