Palettes not showing content correctly

After this most recent update, the palettes have been present, and I can select from them, but I cannot see the item I'm selecting. I use a Mac with the Apple M1 chip.

There have been no MuseScore updates for several months. Do you perhaps mean an OS update, or a graphics driver update? EIther of those could cause problems indeed. See if you can roll them back and if that fixes it, report the problem to the providers of that software.
