Local Time Signatures
I am trying to put two 6/8 parts back to 2/4 but it keeps saying that "Measure is not empty". For context this is Folk Song Suite's first movement I am trying to write for. I have tried various methods at trying to get it to work but nothing seems to work. I just want to change the Soprano and Alto 1 back to 2/4.

I think we need more context. A score would help. Plus why you are trying to do this. I think 6/8 will only work in 2 if you use triplets.

The original piece has a split between the upper woodwinds and the basses where the upper woodwinds have a 6/8 part contrasted by the basses in 2/4.
