Percussion Sounds

I'm pretty new to using Musescore and I started working on drumline parts for a marching band arrangement but the sounds don't match the instruments I write them for. (i.e. snare drums sound like low brass, cymbals sound like a mark tree, etc.) I've talked to some other students that use it and this seems like a problem that is not uncommon, how can I fix this?
