No sound on playback

I just downloaded MuseScore 4.0 but when I playback an existing piano score, the cursor shows it moving through the music but there's no sound.

My computer is a MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey Version 12.5.1.

I have run this same score on another MacBook Pro using MuseScore 3.0 and it works fine.

Suggestions?
