Adding a treble clef

• Jul 25, 2023 - 11:09

I have written a vocal score, it would be convenient to add another treble clef to the piano part. The additional clef would be used to read the horn parts. Is it possible? Appreciate your help.

Yes it is.
But I can explain it only for MuS 3.6.2.
There I press 'i', select staff 2 (bass clef) of the existing piano and use the button 'Add staff'.
Maybe you need to modify the bracket and the bar lines to cover all three staves.

I added the staff, but I can't get the bracket to cover both treble clefts and base clef. The score window shows both treble clefs bracketed but not the base clef. The piano part continues to show only one treble clef and the base clef. Am I going to be able to do this?

As I said, I am on MuS 3.6.2 and there it works as desired. But I may create the parts only after brackets and bar lines are changed.
Unclear: what do you mean by 'exported it'? Creating a part or export as e.g. PDF or mscx?

See the parts excerpt for the piano with three staves:
