Entering Claves notes
I'm using Musescore 4.1.1.
I want to create a score just using instrument Claves.
I can create the empty partition, but I can't enter notes.
I can enter rests (see 2 on attached image), but when trying to enter a note I get a small selected region (see 1 on attached image).
I've used Musescore for a while now, but mostly with electric bass - so perhaps I'm missing some percussion step?
Anyway, how to do it?!

Ah! Okay, so for percussion in general you need to select from the Drum input palette (DIP) which appears at the bottom of the window. After that note entry proceeds as normal.
