How to make Trills go DOWN and NOT up ??
Like for example from F# to F to F# to so forth. NOT F# to G or G# or whatever. There was a feature like this in MS 3, WHERE is it here ??

In MuseScore 3.6.2 you could change a trill into a down prall using the Inspector. In MuseScore 4, you would have to use a down prall outright, then make it invisible and insert a non-playing trill symbol above your note. But, the down prall in MuseScore 3 is different than in MuseScore 4. It plays differently and at a different speed, and the MS4 down prall has extra notes at the end that you did not ask for in the restaurant menu. Long story short, they took away that functionality when they modified Inspector to include accidentals over the trill line. You might have to wait until the next update or several updates to see this fixed. Or you may never see it fixed. My suggestion to you is, write out your trills and stuff in another staff, hide the staff and then set the trills on your original staff to not play. It's extra work, but on the bright side......it's extra work.

Ooh, I BETTER see it again, bc they fcked up a lot of things when they made MS4.

Or put a grace note and make it invisible. Might be closer, at least.

Also if they want the notes to be chromatic instead of diatonic, they can change the key for that measure only to another key or even a custom key, then change it back to the original key in the next measure.

I actually found putting an Apoggiatara or however, its spelled before the note to make it work. Kinda like how lots of Baroque composers wrote it. Still. ridiculous though.
