Guitar Music with Linked staff but only on certain bars

I have a sheet of guitar music written in standard notation but there are a few bars where I'd like the linked staff to be visible to show tab.
The rest of the music will have notes written in standard notation but I'd like the linked staff to be hidden - is this possible at this point?
