Articulation above every note in note mode

• Sep 7, 2023 - 00:01

I somehow got into a situation with Musescore 4 where I have a tenuto above every note in note mode. I can certainly go back and delete the tenuto, but that is a pain. How can I fix this?

I understand. When I choose an eighth note, for example, and I place the eighth note on the staff, it automatically has a tenuto prepopulated on it, like I have no choice but to have a tenuto on my notes. How did I get into a situation where this occurs? I feel like I am inadvertently clicking on something that causes this and would like to know how to get out of that particular "mode." Don't get me wrong, I am very appreciative for the support.

Really? Are you sure that you are not invoking a shortcut for the tenuto, by mistake? On my version of MS, the tenuto shortcut is Shift+N - which might be triggered when you are intending to go for N (Note input: toggle note input mode).
