Copy and pasting notes from second voice into all other measures?

I want to copy and paste a series of drone notes into all other measures. The notes are in the second voice. However, if I select them, copy, then select the other measures, and paste, nothing happens.

I can copy and paste entire measures, but there doesn't seem to be any obvious way to copy and paste notes from the second voice to other measures (and also not overwrite notes in the first voice).

Is there any way to do this?

Yes, I think so - but I don't know what "drone tones" are. Maybe it's something special that doesn't work the way I describe.

  • Open the selection filter, uncheck voice 1, select the measures and copy all the notes from voice 2.
  • put the check mark for voice 1 again
  • Select the first measure of the destination and paste the notes. The notes will be pasted into voice 2, so no notes from voice 1 will be overwritten. If there are no notes of voice 1, swap voice 1 and 2. Then you can delete the remaining rests of voice 2 by selecting "all similar" rests.
