Musescore 3 will not play any sound.

Hello,

I'm using Musescore 3.6.2.548020600 , Revision: 3224f34

I'm unable to get Musescore to play any sound. This has been an off and on issue, and I fear now it may just be broken for good.

Nothing is connected to my computer, I'm on a Macbook , running Venture 13.5.2. I went through this article, but nothing worked: https://musescore.org/en/node/96811

The two big things in that article - making sure the synthesizer is showing up and working - that's fine. And under preferences I/O I'm attaching what I see, which should be right. I did try resetting things on that page per the article above, but it didn't work.

Is there anything else I can do or is the end of my run? :)
