I cannot convert pdf to tab with musescore 4 on Mac
Hi there,
When I ran the Musescore 4 app on my Mac, there was no "Instrument" option from which I could choose Guitar - 6 string, as instructed by the YouTube tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHo80dStZRI), to convert a music sheet to Tab automatically.
I can not find any other method for me to convert the PDF music sheet to Tab, which was the sole reason I purchased this app in the first place. Frustrated!
*Mac Ventura 13.5.2.

There is the instrument tab at the far left of your screenshot.

Yes, I did click on it and add acoustic guitar (Tablature). Still, nothing happened.
I went online to search for a solution, and it said I needed to download the plugin "Tablature", I went to the Musescore dashboard on the web, and searched for 'software' but could not find the 'Tablature' plugin.

You don't need to add an instrument, just change the staff type (standard vs. Tab) of the existing instrument.
