organ pedaling
I can only find threads from 2019 and earlier. Is there any progress on this? I can sort of do it by using "marcato" and "always open" marks and moving them around, but ones I move down don't stick below the notes when I switch between the full score and the parts views. Also, it wrecks the playback, because "always open" just isn't the right thing.
These need to be attached to notes like fingering, with the option of placing them above or below the note. I'm new at this, so sorry if I am asking in the wrong forum. Let me know where I should ask, or if anyone already has a solution.
P.S. I don't see how to delete this, but at least I found the pedaling marks in the master palette. They are too big, and they don't auto-position or hold their position between the views like fingering does.

Yes, I found them by searching for "pedal"
"They are too big..."
Agreed. They are inelegant at that size.
"..., and they don't auto-position or hold their position between the views like fingering does."
Agreed. I think that perhaps they should behave like articulation: by default above the stave, but capable of being toggled to below the stave (without altering their orientation).
I think it might be worth posting in the Engraving forum, with illustrations of published scores to show what organ pedal marks should look like!

They are (sort of) 'fingerings' and should be treated as such.
Probably this should get requested on GitHub
