"Edit Element" not bringing up dialog box
When I click "Edit Element", nothing happens. Trying to set time length for the pause on a birds-eye. Seems a new issue???? Thought it worked OK in V4 (I think....although admittedly I've gotten confused finding stuff with transition to V4.
Any ideas?????

You are probably looking in the wrong place, because "Edit Element" often has no effect. Most settings in MS4 are adjusted in the Properties panel on the left of the score.
For a pause (fermata) you need to select the fermata, then click the Playback sub-panel on Properties, and finally adjust Fermatas > Time Stretch.
