Formatting with the 'Stretch' feature
I created a 14 measure warmup exercise (all whole notes w/ties on groups of two notes). I would like for them to all be on one line, but In normal formatting the last 3 measures are on a second line. I tried selecting all and the use the stretch feature (instruction shown below from what I found on the forum), but it does not work. Any other solutions, instructions or help would be appreciated.
"... reduce the notation stretch by selecting everything (CTRL+A) or just a range of measures and using keyboard shortcut "{" or from the Format>Stretch menu"
I am using MuseScore 4 on a Windows based laptop.

decrease scaling
Format -> page settings -> scaling
In reply to decrease scaling Format ->… by sammik
alternatively, you can try decrease scalling, like You did, but You need to click it multiple times to see effect sometimes
But page settings is more recomended, I think
Strange looks like the stretch isn't much reduced in your picture. Some installation have issues with the shortcut { not working. Check in measure properties that your stretch is indeed changing when you use the shortcut.
Also as your goal is to get just one line, first thing I would do is disable indent of the first line (in Style menu, a check box option).
