Playback crackling solutions

I made a forum post about a month ago dealing with Musescore 4's playback crackling and how to fix it. Since then, I've upgraded my RAM on my laptop to 20 GBs now, increased my buffer rate, and done pretty much all of what all the online guides tell me to do. But nothing seems to be working. I don't know what I'm missing here. Why is this still happening? if anyone knows of anything that might be causing it, or how to effectively resolve it, please let me know. I'm nearing the end of my rope here.
