Musescore 4 dynamic bug

Hello. I don't know if it's just me, but I've found recently that within musescore 4, dynamics placed for an instrument can alter/mess with dynamics and phrasing before the location of that dynamic. For example, if I shift or add dynamics to an instrument, the music 10 bars before may be glitched/bugged/different sounding. It's extremely bizarre and frustrating, and help would be appreciated. Thanks!
