retrieving my scores from my dormant laptop

So a chunk of my scores were not saved separately to my external hard drive before my laptop. My laptop has a software problem, wherein I can't boot it up. While I'm waiting for the extra funds to get my laptop repaired (or at least retrieve from it all the info I'm pretty sure is safe), I'm wondering if you just have a cloud connecting to all those scores on my laptop, that could allow me to retrieve those scores.

Please advise.

There's no magic backup happening.
But you might take the disk put of your laptop, put it into a USB case and connect to another computer, then locate and copy the scores
