Musescore 4 versus Musescore 3

• Oct 20, 2023 - 04:46

Bonjour.

Hello. I downloaded Musescore 4 again. I am used to muse 3 which I preferred to 4. Now I'm trying to figure it out, but I can't find the "save online" where all my scores are.

Does this tool still exist?
How can I find the recordings of each voice so that I can keep them?
Thank you for your help.

"I can't find the "Save online" where all my scores are"

"Save online" It has been replaced by two options in MS4:
a) File > Save to cloud (a private store online for your scores)
b) File > Publish to MuseScore.com (a way to share your scores with a closed group or with the public)

Both options actually store the score files on musescore.com, as far as I know.

You can continue to use the same vocal sounds as in MS3, by using the option MS Basic in the Mixer (shortcut F10).

If you want to access Muse Sounds for your vocal playback, you must first have installed Muse Hub and then use Muse Hub to download the Muse Choir sounds. After that you will be able to change the vocal sound for each choral line in the Mixer:
Sound > Muse Sounds > Muse Choir > Soprano / Alto / Tenor / Bass
