Musescore sound font issue

Hello,
I am currently having an issue where all of my instruments sound very strange. They sound very squeaky and it is clearly not the instrument that should be playing. The tempo is also almost double the default tempo. I have uninstalled Musehub and Musescore 4 and uninstalled all of the Musehub add-ons. I even re-installed them multiple times. I am at a loss of what to do since I enjoy just writing on my own spare time.
