Cut Time
So, I'm making music with MuseScore for the first time, and I've been wondering how to use "cut time." If anyone could help me with this, it would be much appreciated!

Here is the wikipedia article for Time Signature: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_signature
It contains description of cut time. It is the same thing as 2/2, and is notated very similar (identical?) to 4/4, but beats are on the half notes, that is, two beats per measure.

The cut time signature is available in the Time Signatures palette, and by default it gives you the correct beaming:
