Doesn't allow dynamic changes after diminuendo
I want to change the dynamics back to mf after diminishing. Musescore 4 won't allow changes until after the next note. If there was a way I can fix this or if there is a better way to diminish like this I would like to know.

I changed the first measure to the only way I know at this time to make this happen. So for now you need to decide if notation is important or playback.

That fixed it. Is there any reason why it does not allow you to change after a dim.?

No. That's just the way hairpins work in MU4 for now. Have you tried in the 4.2 beta version?
For now dynamics need to be tied to notes, not hairpins. The hairpin worked but nothing after it.
