Violin switched from solo to ensemble with pizzicato?
Sometime in the last month or so I loaded up a piece that had been sounding pretty nice in playback, and a bunch of stuff was different. The note and dynamic transitions were much less smooth, the instruments all generally sounded a little more stilted, and - most annoyingly - when the violin switched to pizzicato it all the sudden had an ensemble sound instead of being a solo instrument. What happened?

I think I figured it out (kind of). Somehow the muse strings plugin had gotten de-activated, and just going in to view > Playback setup got it going again
