How to create grace note prebend and release in 4.2?

As a guitar player I am excited of the new bend possibilities in 4.2. However, there is one thing I can't seem to do. I want to create a prebend that acts like a grace note.

In the attached score, the f# is connected to the g with a standard bend (A).
I would like to make it a grace note prebend instead to indicate that the note should be plucked, as I have tried in the third bar (B). This method is apparently not allowed since the bend is shown in red.

Is this possible, or is it something that should be a feature suggestion for future release?
