score mangled by version 4.2.0.233521125

I just installed 4.0 and loaded the score I wrote years ago.

in 3.0 it looks and plays correctly.
In 4.0 the score is pretty mangled. All instruments but one are deleted in the first 8 measures. When I play it, just that one instrument plays.
Any idea what is going on, and how to fix it?

The first two bars contained 2 voices in the top flute part. Deleting those extra rests seems to have made it look better on my system.

thx. Also deleting the text on the first measure, or moving two of the text lines to a different measure also fixed it. Looking the score in version 3, I can see the two voices there, which is an error on my part.
