Musescore wont open. Crashes instantly.
If anyone can help with this.
I wrote a score the other day and things seemed to be working fine. Now after opening Musescore it crashes right away.
My current Musescore version is 3.6.2. Im aware there is an update. For quite a while now Musescore shows there is an update to 4.0 available. When I click this it downloads and I can install MuseHub. Going to the latest version to download of the site seems to be the same link. I downloaded and and install this (I believe, same process as all other apps) quite a few times over the last few months. But when reopening MuseScore always says there is another update to download.
Can anyone help with getting the app running? Thanks
Im on a Macbook Pro 2019. OS Ventura. 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7. 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

Muse Hub isn't MuseScore - it's the installer for MuseScore. Now that you've your downloaded Muse Hub, you need to actually run it - then it will prompt you to download and install MuseScore 4.
OK nm! I think Ive solved myself. I found 'Download Musescore without MuseHub' button. Seems good now.

Well, that gives you MuseScore, but not Muse Sounds, so you’ll be stuck with old-fashioned spy fronts and not be able to take care of some of most significant improvements. You still need to run Muse Hub to install the new sounds.
