Two issues with a score after latest update (staff spacing and hanging)
The piece I was working on has lots of extra space between the instrument staffs after about halfway through the score. The space is between the first and second instrument. There are no issues between second and third, etc. If I look at the parts, they appear normal.
Also, anything I attempt to do with the score results in "Not Responding" for long periods of time.

I changed the view to page mode, but that didn't solve either problem.

Unhide the bass clef in the piano part. Then re-hide it. Fixed it on my system.

Yeah, after about 4 minutes it did fix the view. I saved it and reopened. It reverted to the same issue and ANY action I take on the score results in about a 2 minute wait with the spinning circle and the message, Not Responding."

Yes, thank you. So far, it seems to have fixed it. How did you delete the bass clef of the piano?

Consider a separate post so we don't cross and confuse answers.
However. It seems both of you are using Continuous Mode. 4.2 has issues with it. Stay in page mode for now.
