Corrupted file

• Jan 11, 2024 - 22:17

Hello,
I have a file I've been working on for several months now and I ran into an issue when I was trying to input a tuplet with a ratio of 11/12. I'm not sure what I did wrong but now the measure somehow has a rest that is somehow existing outside of the measure but also part of the measure and cannot be deleted no matter what I do. I have tried to copy and paste a random blank measure in to replace it in an attempt to start over, but it just added another rest without deleting the extra one. I don't know what to do. The file also won't save because it is corrupted so I am afraid to do anything for fear of losing all my work. If anyone has any tips or suggestions I'd be very grateful.
The measure highlighted is the one with the problem, and the one below it is more or less what I want it to look like.

EDIT: I have since fixed the error and it is running properly now. Thank you to those who provided support :)

If you see dialog "File is corrupted", you have an option to save it anyway. Also you can make another copy using "File -> Save as" dialog.
Then attach this file here.

You can insert two new measures and rewrite this one and the one after it. Then delete those incorrect measures.

Or you can attach your score so we can see what's wrong and tell you how to correct it.

If copyright is an issue, then make a copy of the score and delete the measures before and after the corrupt measure - it's best to leave a few measures on both sides.
I can't even make out the time signature in the picture ...
