4.2.0 broke Kontakt.
Kontakt still works, don't get me wrong- however some VSTs no longer produce any sound even if it's pressing the correct key.
Additionally, if you try to reopen Kontakt for 1 instrument twice in one session, the second attempt will produce entirely empty windows.
This issue was not observed in 4.1.0 nightly.

I encountered that Kontakt "blank screen" last night in MuseScore 4.2.1 here on Mac OS Ventura (13.5.2).
And when I closed the session, and reopened, my carefully crafted Kontakt Stradivari settings were lost. Today I managed reconstruct and save ... but even now I'm not sure everything is as I left it.

It wasn't an issue in the 4.1.1 nightlies I were using, so i'm tempted to downgrade again.

Issue observed in 4.2.1 as well.
Setup any kontakt instrument, close window, try to reopen kontakt and you'll end up with a blank screen.
