Playback pitch is wrong if switched to Focusrite playback device.

I've made a short video to represent it, as it's much way easier way to explain an issue than 100 words. Phone camera, because it's tough to swap audio devices during the software recording.

Basically it seems like Focusrite (Clarett 2Pre) somehow transposes midi playback from MuseScore. I don't know how to set it up but it happened twice or something, that I (unconsciously) turned on Focusrite, software playback device automatically swapped to Focusrite and the pitch was fine (to my surprise), but I have no clue how to repeat it.

Anyone encountered similar issue? It really bothers me as it makes me unable to play midi controller in DAW while working in MuseScore.

Thanks in advance.

When you change audio devices the first time, there are system settings that need to be looked at in order for MU4 to play correctly. True of any notation software. when you disconnect that device, audio will revert to the onboard system settings. Both systems should be set up to their best configuration. The OS will remember settings. Mostly. In your case, turn off "Exclusive mode" for the Focusrite. This is a setting in your OS, not in software.
