Missing info from handbook

https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/slash-notation#rhythms-off-staff
I went to the handbook to try and understand what rationale led musescore to decide whether a "toggle slash notation" command should result in centered regular sized notes, or in cue-sized notes above the staff - since I have gotten both results and it seemed rather arbitrary - and I noticed that the section about that function is empty. Is there another source of documentation I can look into?

oooooooh it's a matter of which voice. Cool! A pity that it creates a minor conflict with the voice system of drumset staves. I suppose one would need a bit of practice to learn to handle both behaviours at the same time. Or maybe, when making a cue part for a drummer, the "default" part for referencing in playback should be in a different (invisible) staff altogether. I'll do that next time.
