single-note dynamics on last note of score

I am wondering whether it is possible to add a single-note dynamic to the last note of a score? There is no note to attach the second dynamic marking to (see the screenshot). It would seem to be needed frequently, but I am thinking one might need a workaround, surprisingly for me.
