Can you hide time signatures?
I want to write out some plainchant which has varying numbers of quavers in each bar - ideally with no visible time signature.

Select the time signature and use keyboard shortcut "V" to make it invisible as you would with any other score element.

Right-click into the staff, Staff properties, untick Show time signature
